A new travel option now offers a swift and comfortable connection between the islands of Java and Bali. The Express Bahari fast ferry service provides a direct route from Banyuwangi to Denpasar, creating a convenient alternative for tourists and locals looking to cross the Bali Strait without the long queues of traditional ferry services.
The service connects two key ports: Boom Marina in Banyuwangi and the Port of Serangan in Denpasar, Bali.
Daily Schedule and Timings
The modern Express Bahari 1F vessel operates daily, ensuring a consistent and reliable travel option for passengers. The only exception is on Tuesdays, which are reserved for routine vessel maintenance to guarantee safety and performance.
- From Banyuwangi to Bali: Departs at 09:00 WIB and arrives at 12:30 WITA.
- From Bali to Banyuwangi: Departs at 14:00 WITA and arrives at 15:30 WIB.
Note: There is a one-hour time difference between Western Indonesia Time (WIB) and Central Indonesia Time (WITA).
Ticket Prices and Classes
Travelers can choose between two comfortable seating classes: Executive and VIP. Prices are differentiated for Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign nationals (WNA).

Onboard Facilities and Eco-Friendly Commitment
The Express Bahari 1F is a spacious vessel designed for passenger comfort, featuring a total of 407 seats (347 Executive and 60 VIP). Each passenger is entitled to a baggage allowance of up to 20 kg.
In a commendable effort to protect the marine environment, Express Bahari has adopted an eco-friendly policy. To minimize waste and help keep the sea clean, the operator does not provide or sell food and beverages on board. Passengers are advised to eat beforehand or bring their own small snacks and be mindful of their waste.
