Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions of Carriage

By purchasing a ticket through BaliGiliFastBoat.com, passengers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of the selected fast boat operator.


1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after full payment has been received and a booking confirmation or e-ticket has been issued.

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that all booking information, including passenger names, travel dates, routes, departure times, and contact details, is accurate before completing the booking.


2. Check-In and Boarding

Passengers must check in at the designated departure point no later than 30 minutes before departure, unless otherwise stated by the selected operator.

Check-in generally opens 1 hour before departure and closes strictly 30 minutes before departure.

Passengers arriving after check-in has closed may be denied boarding without refund.

For routes involving Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Gili Air, and Gili Meno, check-in or departure times may differ due to local harbour shuttle transfers or operational requirements. Passengers are responsible for checking the exact departure instructions provided in their booking confirmation.


3. Schedule Changes, Delays & Cancellations by the Operator

All departure schedules are subject to weather conditions, sea conditions, port authority regulations, operational requirements, technical issues, and instructions issued by the Harbour Master or Indonesian Government.

The selected fast boat operator reserves the right to delay, reschedule, substitute vessels, or cancel any departure without prior notice when necessary for safety or operational reasons.

BaliGiliFastBoat.com acts solely as a booking platform and shall not be held liable for operational changes made by the operator.

Passengers are strongly advised to allow a minimum of 24 hours between their ferry arrival and any onward flights or important travel connections.

Neither BaliGiliFastBoat.com nor the operator shall be responsible for any consequential losses, including but not limited to accommodation costs, missed flights, tours, transport arrangements, or other indirect expenses.


4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our official customer support channels.

Unless otherwise specified by the selected operator or promotional fare:

  • More than 7 days (168 hours) before departure: 100% refund of the ticket fare.
  • Between 7 days and 48 hours before departure: 50% refund of the ticket fare.
  • Less than 48 hours before departure: No refund.
  • No-show passengers are not entitled to any refund.

Some operators and promotional fares may have different cancellation policies. In such cases, the operator's specific policy shall apply.

Any applicable payment gateway fees, bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transfer costs related to refunds are non-refundable and remain the passenger's responsibility.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within approximately 3–4 business weeks, depending on banking processing times.


5. Rescheduling

Schedule changes are permitted only if allowed by the selected operator and are subject to seat availability.

Unless otherwise specified, requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before departure.

Fare differences may apply if the new departure has a higher price. If the replacement ticket has a lower fare, the difference is generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the operator.


6. Luggage Policy

Unless otherwise stated by the selected operator, each passenger may carry up to 2 pieces of luggage with a combined maximum weight of 25 kg.

Additional luggage may incur excess baggage charges or be refused by the operator.

Passengers must not carry dangerous goods including, but not limited to:

  • Explosives
  • Flammable liquids
  • Corrosive substances
  • Toxic chemicals
  • Hazardous materials
  • Illegal goods

Operators reserve the right to inspect luggage and refuse transportation of any prohibited items.

Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Neither BaliGiliFastBoat.com nor the operator accepts responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to luggage or personal items during transit.


7. Chargebacks

By purchasing tickets through BaliGiliFastBoat.com, passengers agree that once the booked transportation service has been provided, they will not initiate any chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute through their bank, credit card provider, or payment service without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with BaliGiliFastBoat.com.

Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in additional administrative charges and legal recovery actions where permitted by law.


8. Health & Safety

Travel by fast boat may not be suitable for:

  • Pregnant women
  • Passengers with heart conditions
  • Passengers with serious back or spinal conditions
  • Passengers with other significant medical conditions

Sea conditions may become rough and unpredictable.

Children and infants must remain under adult supervision at all times.

Passengers travel at their own risk and are responsible for assessing their own fitness to travel.


9. Insurance

Insurance coverage, if provided, is supplied solely by the selected fast boat operator and is limited to incidents occurring during the ferry voyage in accordance with the operator's insurance policy.

Additional services such as hotel transfers, shuttle services, private transport, tours, or other third-party services are generally not covered unless explicitly stated.


10. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking information.
  • Carrying valid identification where required.
  • Arriving at the departure point on time.
  • Following all safety instructions issued by the crew.
  • Complying with Indonesian laws and local harbour regulations.

Failure to comply may result in refusal of boarding without refund.


11. Name Changes & Ticket Transfer

Unless otherwise permitted by the selected operator, passenger name changes are not allowed after ticket issuance.

Tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the passenger whose name appears on the booking.


12. Pets

Pets are generally not permitted onboard unless explicitly approved by the selected operator.

Passengers wishing to travel with animals should contact customer support before booking.


13. Promotional Fares

Special promotional fares may carry additional restrictions, including but not limited to:

  • Non-refundable tickets
  • Non-changeable schedules
  • Limited availability
  • Operator-specific conditions

By purchasing a promotional ticket, passengers agree to all applicable promotional terms.


14. Limitation of Liability

BaliGiliFastBoat.com acts solely as an online booking platform connecting passengers with independent fast boat operators.

We do not operate the vessels ourselves.

Accordingly, BaliGiliFastBoat.com shall not be liable for:

  • Vessel delays
  • Schedule changes
  • Vessel substitutions
  • Cancellations
  • Operational decisions made by operators
  • Weather-related disruptions
  • Harbour closures
  • Lost luggage
  • Personal injury
  • Property damage

Liability for transportation services remains with the selected operator in accordance with applicable laws.


15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any disputes arising from bookings made through BaliGiliFastBoat.com shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. Where resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Indonesia.

Verbal statements made by customer service representatives, agents, or third parties shall not modify these Terms & Conditions unless confirmed in writing by BaliGiliFastBoat.com.
